Playing needs no personal info

You can play everything without telling us who you are. A cookie remembers your streaks, boards and leaderboard spot on that device — it identifies a browser, not a person. If you choose to create an account to carry your streak across devices, we keep the sign-in details you provide until you delete the account.

Email

Two kinds, kept separate. An account needs the working sort — the link that signs you in, a password reset, a heads-up if something looks off with it. Then there’s the occasional note about the game itself: a mode that just landed, a milestone you hit, a challenge still waiting on you. Those always carry an unsubscribe link — one click, effective straight away, and we don’t quietly put you back on later. Turning them off leaves the working mail alone; you’d be locked out without it.

Your game data

Drafts and results are saved so leaderboards, streaks and challenges work. When you share a board or a result, anyone with the link can see that board — that’s the point of sharing it.

Chat

Every room — lobbies, online rooms, match chat and messages between friends — keeps only its last couple of hundred messages, and older ones roll off on their own. We can read what a room is holding when we’re checking a report or keeping the game safe, so treat chat here as moderated, not private. Reported messages are kept longer so we can act on them.

Analytics

We use the usual analytics tools to see how the game is doing overall — pages visited, device type, rough region, and how people found us. They set their own cookies. We only ever look at the results in aggregate.
